Our clients benefit from AIVista’s deep product AI expertise combined with the industry domain and systems integration experience of NTT DATA.\nRole Description\nAIVista turns foundation models into specialized, governed agents that run mission-critical, regulated enterprise operations reliably at scale. Behind every one of those agents is a lot of software - the services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure that make agentic AI dependable enough to run real enterprise operations. Building that software well is what turns a promising demo into a system enterprises can trust.\nAs a Software Engineer, you’ll design and build the systems that power the AIVista platform, scalable backend services, integrations with enterprise systems, data pipelines, and the infrastructure our agents run on. You’ll write high-quality, production-grade code, own meaningful parts of the platform, and work closely with the engineers building our AI capabilities on top of it.\nThis is a hands-on role at an early-stage company, for someone who wants to own their work rather than tickets. You’ll move with velocity and own the result, hold a high bar on quality and reliability where mistakes are costly, and stay flexible as the product and the field evolve.\nResponsibilities\nBuild production services - design and ship scalable, reliable backend services and APIs that power the AIVista platform.\n\nIntegrate with the enterprise - build the connections, data pipelines, and plumbing that let our platform work inside real customer systems.\n\nBuild the infrastructure agents run on - develop the deployment, orchestration, and tooling that keep agentic workflows running reliably in production.\n\nOwn quality - write well-tested, maintainable code, and help raise the engineering bar across the team.\n\nCollaborate and iterate - partner with product, AI, and customer teams, and turn feedback and production signals into improvements.\n\nRepresentative Projects\nBuild the APIs and services that let agents connect securely to a customer’s systems of record.\n\nDesign the data pipelines that feed organizational context into the platform and keep it fresh and correct.\n\nDevelop the deployment and orchestration infrastructure that agentic workflows run on in production.\n\nBuild the observability and tooling the engineering team relies on to ship and debug quickly.\n\nHarden platform integrations for enterprise environments - authentication, access control, and governance plumbing.\n\nImprove the reliability, latency, and cost of platform services operating at scale.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years building and shipping production software\n\nBachelor’s degree in a technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\n\nProduction-quality software engineering in Python and other modern languages (Go, TypeScript, Rust, or similar), with a track record of building durable systems, not one-off scripts\n\nExperience designing and building scalable backend services, APIs, and data systems\n\nHands-on experience deploying and operating services on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), using containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or similar)\n\nComfortable building with or alongside LLM and AI systems (deep AI development experience is not required)\n\nBias for action and ownership - you thrive with high autonomy and ambiguity, and ship without sacrificing rigor\n\nClear communication and collaboration skills, across engineering, product, and customer teams\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building LLM-powered or agentic applications - model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock), agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex), or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)\n\nExperience with data-intensive systems - streaming, large-scale processing, or high-throughput pipelines\n\nExperience building or operating software in large, regulated enterprise environments\n\nA track record of independent work - shipped products, open-source contributions, or technical writing\n\nYou don’t need to check every box. The salary for the successful applicant will depend on job-related factors such as education, training, work experience, business needs, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
