The role covers system and software development activities, from requirements and architecture to implementation, integration, debugging and testing, in a complex automotive embedded environment based on QNX/Linux, NVIDIA and Automotive Ethernet.\nWhat you'll be doing\nRequirements elicitation, system/software requirements analysis and architectural design.\nEmbedded software development, integration, testing, issue analysis and bug fixing.\nQNX BSP configuration and device driver development.\nWork with build environments, kernel-level components and low-level system functionality.\nDevelopment and integration in the following areas:\nPower & Thermal Management\nStartup Sequence & Performance\nProcess/Thread Monitoring\nDiagnostics - UDS, DoIP and System Logging\nTime management\nAutomotive Ethernet - switch configuration, PHY/MAC configuration, Ethernet stack integration and VLANs\nInvestigation and resolution of complex software issues in multi-component / multi-VM environments.\nManagement and tracking of development activities and defects in Jira.\nContribution to metrics, technical documentation and change-management reporting.\nCollaboration with architects, requirements engineers, integrators, developers and testers in an Agile/SAFe environment.\nWhat you'll bring along\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering field.\nPrevious experience with NVIDIA DRIVE / NVIDIA Thor platforms.\nExperience with embedded performance analysis, boot-time optimization, power management and thermal management.\nAutomotive flashing procedures using DoIP.\nStrong C/C++ development experience in embedded systems.\nAdvanced experience with Linux and/or QNX, ideally including BSP, kernel and driver development.\nStrong automotive embedded software background.\nExperience with Automotive Ethernet and communication protocols: TCP/IP / UDP, SOME/IP, DoIP, UDS\nExperience with Classic and/or Adaptive AUTOSAR.\nExperience debugging complex embedded systems using tools such as Lauterbach or iSystem.\nKnowledge of CANoe and automotive simulation/debugging environments.\nScripting experience with Python and Bash.\nExperience with Jira/Confluence and requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.\nKnowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) development processes.\nExperience with PCIe and complex multi-SoC or multi-VM architectures.\nKnowledge of functional safety and cybersecurity standards: ISO 26262 & ISO/SAE 21434\nStrong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.\nComfortable working across software architecture, low-level development and system integration.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English\nHigh adaptability in a complex automotive development
