Be bold, Deliver the outcome, and Win together.\nYour next challenge\nWe are looking for a Treasury Operations Officer - Disbursements to join our team inSan José, Costa Rica, supporting a global organization within the financial services sector.\nIn this role, you will support the operational execution of the end-to-end disbursement process within the Treasury Operations team. You will contribute to the accurate and timely processing of loan disbursements, capital contributions, and guarantees.\nYou will review financial and operational documentation, validate disbursement requirements, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and monitor transactions through completion. You will also support process documentation, operational improvements, automation, analytics, and efficiency initiatives.\nThis is a hands-on operational role that requires strong organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment.\nResponsibilities:\nReview financing documentation and related correspondence to understand operational requirements.\nSupport the coordination and processing of loan disbursements, capital contributions, and guarantees.\nValidate conditions precedent to disbursements and guarantee issuances.\nMonitor compliance with established credit limits and track the maturity and renewal of credit lines.\nCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, Legal, Risk, Treasury, and clients.\nProcess disbursements, capital contributions, guarantees, and related activities in the organization’s systems.\nMonitor each stage of the disbursement process to help ensure accurate and timely execution.\nPerform pro-rata, fee, and other operational calculations.\nPrepare operational information, reports, calculations, and system entries with accuracy and attention to detail.\nManage requirements, dependencies, stakeholders, and timelines across assigned operational activities.\nIdentify potential operational issues, risks, or bottlenecks and support their timely resolution or escalation.\nDocument and map operational processes.\nDevelop and maintain manuals, procedures, process maps, workflows, and guidance materials.\nAnalyze recurring operational issues and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and increased efficiency.\nRecommend and support the implementation of practical process improvements and operational controls.\nContribute to initiatives involving process automation, data analytics, business intelligence, and AI-enabled tools.\nSupport knowledge management, process standardization, and continuous improvement activities.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Law, Information Systems, or a related field.\n3 to 5 years of experience in banking operations, financial operations, treasury operations, middle office, back office, or a similar operational environment.\nUnderstanding of financial products, transaction processing, loan operations, or related operational processes.\nAbility to understand operational requirements and learn complex financial processes.\nStrong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.\nAbility to identify potential issues, apply sound judgment, and escalate matters appropriately.\nExperience documenting processes, creating procedures, or mapping operational workflows.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills.\nProfessional proficiency in English and Spanish.\nCritical thinking and the ability to question existing processes constructively and contribute new ideas.\nCollaborative attitude, maturity, adaptability, and willingness to absorb new information and knowledge.\nAbility to work effectively under operational pressure and receive feedback constructively.\nDemonstrated professional stability and interest in developing within an operational environment.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with disbursements, loan operations, Trade Finance, or Supply Chain Finance products.\nUnderstanding of the lifecycle of financial products and their operational requirements.\nExperience creating process manuals, procedures, workflows, or process maps.\nAdvanced Excel skills, including experience creating or using macros.\nExperience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.\nFamiliarity with process automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools.\nExperience identifying operational efficiencies and recommending practical improvements.\nExposure to continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process standardization initiatives.\nAbout NTT DATA\nAs a Top 5 global IT services provider, NTT DATA brings together more than 190,000 professionals across 50+ countries, supported by a strong ecosystem of established and emerging technology partners.
