Working as part of a supportive team, you'll contribute to a safe, efficient, and continuous improvement-focused manufacturing environment.\nIn this role, you will:\nAssemble complex products in line with production schedules, quality standards and work instructions.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets and business objectives.\nRead, understand and follow technical instructions, drawings and established assembly procedures.\nCarry out quality checks throughout the assembly process, reporting any non-conformances, defects or equipment issues through the appropriate channels.\nUse a variety of hand tools, equipment and machinery safely and effectively.\nSupport preventive maintenance activities as required.\nHelp maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with site standards.\nShare knowledge and provide support to new team members, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.\nActively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and 6S activities, to enhance quality, safety and efficiency.\nWhat we're looking for\nTo be successful in this role, you'll bring:\nExperience assembling complex manufactured products within a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.\nConfidence using hand tools, clamps and assembly equipment.\nA practical, hands-on approach with a strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.\nThe ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage workload effectively.\nGood written English skills, with the ability to read and accurately follow work instructions.\nA positive attitude, strong work ethic and a reliable approach to attendance and timekeeping.\nA willingness to learn, develop new skills and, during your initial training period, travel to another company site if required.\nWhat we offer\n£14 - £14.35 per hour \nMonday - Friday, 40 hours per week (typically 8:30am - 5:00pm with 30 minute unpaid break, however can discuss flexibility to these hours)\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nMatched pension contributions up to 8%\nLife assurance\nEnhanced Maternity & Paternity pay\nSave as you earn Sharesave Scheme\nCycle to work scheme\nFree flu vouchers\nVarious health & wellbeing initiatives including complimentary occupational health, physiotherapy and counselling services.\nHere at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
