We recognise the value of investing in our people through comprehensive training and personal development courses.\nRole Overview\nAs a Quality Engineer your focus will be to accelerate enhanced quality performance through the delivery of effective daily management, delivery of strategic projects and deployment of tools & techniques. Engagement with key business stakeholders will be key to ensure end-to-end quality is built into our products, processes, and services.\nKey Responsibilities\nProactively engage with key stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, R&D and Engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport the Quality and Operations teams in delivering continuous improvement activities that enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.\nIncrease standardisation, reduce variation and deliver quality improvement projects, including new product development and existing product portfolio activities.\nImplement, maintain and analyse quality metrics, conducting root cause investigations and driving corrective actions to improve processes.\nSupport the development and delivery of the Quality Improvement Strategy aligned to the Genuit Business System.\nCapture and analyse customer feedback, using insights to improve performance and enhance communication across the business.\nDevelop and deliver quality-related training to build capability and reduce NCRs and customer support issues.\nDeliver improvements to quality management systems, product specifications and standards, while supporting visual management and workplace organisation initiatives. \nApply continuous improvement tools and methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Kaizen, Gemba, Pareto and SPC to drive business improvements.\nDevelop and implement plans to improve end-to-end quality systems, enhancing efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.\nSkills and Experience\nProven experience delivering Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.\nExperience developing and implementing leading and lagging KPI metrics.\nExperience of project planning.\nExperience of visual management. \nAbility to plan and deliver effective meetings and training modules.\nExcellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.\nDemonstrable involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives. \nKnowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean tools, Root Cause Analysis and Kaizen methodologies.\nDynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to train, present and conduct workshops. \nWillingness to travel to other UK locations to deliver projects.\nBenefits\nEntitled to 25 days holiday \nPension contribution matched up to 8% \nSave as you earn Genuit Sharesave scheme \nLife assurance \nEnhanced maternity and paternity pay \nVarious health and wellbeing initiatives \nStaff discount on all Genuit Group products \nHere at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
