The individual should have enthusiasm for science and wish to develop technically to understand heating and chilled water systems. The Technician will play an active part in ensuring the highest quality of service to clients. The role will involve extensive use of the company LIMS system to allocate testing schedules to samples received.\nWorking hours: 37,5 hours/week, Monday-Friday 16:00-00:00 including 30 mins of unpaid break time\nWorking style: Onsite, lab based\nResponsibilities\nThe Sample Receipt Technician is responsible for ensuring that all samples received in the laboratory are correctly recorded and accurately allocated testing to specified client requirements within the appropriate time frame through the use of the LIMS system.\nThe Sample Receipt Technician will assist in maintaining the laboratory accreditation to ISO 17025.\nApply health and safety and quality standards as required by the Company, statuary legislation and external customer requirements.\nTo ensure that all customers contractual terms are met and that laboratory process comply with quality standards implemented.\nPromote best practice throughout the laboratory, in terms of quality driven laboratory production.\nTo carry out any reasonable duties as specified by the line manager.\nThe Person\nGCSE in Science and an interest in science\nExcellent IT skills with a high level of accuracy along with an eye for detail\nTo have excellent communication and organisation skills\nTo be able to work within set targets and goals and be able to manage expectations\nTo be able to work well in a team with a reliable , open honest and approachable character\nThe Benefits\n25 days holiday\nPension contribution matched up to 8% \nLife Assurance 3x base salary \nPrivate health scheme \nGenuit sharesave scheme \nHere at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
