We encourage fresh ideas, invest in development and are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone feels like they belong.\nThe Opportunity\nThis is a unique opportunity to shape and lead a hands-on technical training centresupporting installers, plumbers, heating engineers and groundworkers across the UK.\nYou will design and deliver engaging training programmes covering plastic plumbing, drainage and low-carbon heating technologies, ensuring installers understand how to install our systems safely, efficiently and in line with UK Building Regulations and the Future Homes Standard.\nThis role combines technical expertise, leadership and creativity, giving you the chance to influence industry standards while helping grow the Polypipe brand.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDesign and deliver practical, hands-on training programmes and assessmentscovering our full product portfolio.\n\nEnsure all training content aligns with UK Building Regulations, industry best practice and the Future Homes Standard.\n\nDevelop blended learning content, including installation videos, webinars and digital training materials.\n\nWork with the marketing team to create technical content for social media and digital platforms.\n\nLead the design and continuous improvement of the training centre, ensuring workshop areas reflect real-world installation scenarios.\n\nManage the day-to-day running of the facility, including training schedules, stock levels and health & safety compliance.\n\nMaintain training rigs, tools and equipment to the highest safety and performance standards.\n\nLead and mentor the Associate Trainer and wider teamto ensure engaging and consistent training delivery.\n\nAct as the main contact for awarding bodies such as BPECand LCL Awardsto maintain accredited training centre status.\n\nMonitor and evaluate training effectiveness through learner feedback and competency assessments.\n\nRepresent Polypipe as a brand ambassador, attending trade shows and industry events.\n\nAbout You\nWe’re looking for someone with strong industry knowledge, practical experience and a passion for developing others.\nYou will be confident presenting to groups, designing engaging training programmes and translating technical information into practical learning experiences.\nEssential Experience\nOn-site industry and training experience\n\nStrong knowledge of plastic plumbing, domestic drainage, underfloor heating and air source heat pumps.\n\nExperience developing training courses or workshopsfrom technical documentation.\n\nStrong presentation and communication skills.\n\nExperience managing a training facility or operational site, including health & safety oversight.\n\nA1 Assessor Qualification or recognised training qualification.\n\nFull UK Driving Licence.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\nLevel 3 Air Source Heat Pump Qualification.\n\nLevel 3 Award in Education & Training (AET).\n\nLevel 3 Award in Low Temperature Heating & Hot Water Design.\n\nWRAS / G3 Unvented / Part P (Basic Electrical) certifications.\n\nWorking Hours\nMonday - Friday | 09:00 - 17:00\nBenefits\nWe offer a competitive benefits package including:\nCompany Car\n\n25 days annual leave\n\nContributory pension scheme (matched up to 8%)\n\nLife assurance\n\nEnhanced maternity and paternity pay\n\nSharesave scheme\n\nStaff discount across all Genuit Group products\n\nHealth and wellbeing initiatives including:\nOccupational health support\n\nOn-site physiotherapy\n\nCounselling services\n\nHere at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
