Your role is crucial to meet productivity targets and maintain customer satisfaction. You ensure efficient processes and procedures are followed. Your attention to detail and leadership skills creates a safe and organized warehouse environment.\nResponsibilities :\nOverseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials, while ensuring efficient coordination amongst the staff.\nMonitoring and enforcing compliance with company policies and safety regulations to ensure the safety of all warehouse employees.\nManaging inventory, which includes maintaining accurate records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving any discrepancies.\nEffectively plan and allocate resources in order to meet daily operational requirements, maximising productivity and minimising downtime.\nTrain, mentor, and provide regular feedback to warehouse staff in order to cultivate their skills and expertise, enabling them to carry out their duties with utmost efficiency.\nWork together with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to effectively manage and prioritise incoming and outgoing shipments.\nConsistently seek out opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and decrease costs.\nConduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with quality standards.\nManage and resolve any warehouse-related issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive employee relations.\nPrepare and analyse reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving accuracy, providing recommendations for improvement.\nHours Of Work:\nMonday to Thursday 8am to 4.30 pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm.\n39 hours per week\nEssential Criteria:\nProven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.\nExperience of supervising/managing staff and delegating tasks\nExperience of delivering training\nAbility to develop, initiate and maintain systems and procedures\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nGood administrative and organisational ability\nProblem solver and competent decision maker\nFull UK driving licence\nIT competent and able to use various IT platforms/systems\nExperience and knowledge of adhering to health and safety standards within a warehouse operation\nForklift Truck operators’ qualification\nDesirable Criteria:\nVNA Forklift Truck operators’ qualification.\nHere at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
