Numa has raised $50 million from leading investors (Google, Threshold, Costanoa, Mitsui, and Touring Capital).\nThe Role\nWe're hiring a Senior Product Designer to own major product areas and work closely with Product and Engineering to define and design new experiences from concept through launch and iteration. This role is for a senior individual contributor who is comfortable operating with meaningful ambiguity, rapidly evolving technologies, and a fast-moving product environment. This role reports to the Head of Design.\nYou'll be designing for the AI agents that handle customer calls and voicemails, and shaping the service and sales workflows dealerships rely on every day.\nDesign itself is changing alongside AI. We're looking for someone who's excited by that without losing sight of the fundamentals: strong product judgment, customer empathy, design craft, and a willingness to question assumptions.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn end-to-end product design for major features and product areas, from early exploration through shipped work and iteration\nHelp clarify ambiguous problems, contributing to problem framing rather than waiting for perfect inputs\nPartner closely with PMs and engineers to improve solution quality and execution speed\nDevelop firsthand understanding of customer workflows through customer conversations, call reviews, analytics, and field visits\nParticipate in customer interviews and synthesize feedback to bring the voice of the customer into product decisions\nDesign and improve complex workflows\nContribute to shared patterns, components, and design guidance to improve consistency, usability, and quality across the product\nProvide thoughtful feedback and critique to improve the work of teammates\nMaintain a high design quality bar while helping our teams move faster, not slower\nOperate with a high degree of autonomy when goals and constraints are reasonably clear, and proactively help drive teams to clarity when they're not\nWhat You Bring\n4+ years of experience designing workflow-driven software products\nProven ability to own features or product areas within a broader product strategy\nStrong product thinking, interaction design, visual design, and communication skills\nStrong customer empathy and comfort engaging directly with users\nStrong judgment about where to invest depth versus speed, with the ability to help teammates understand tradeoffs\nNice To Have\nExperience designing AI-powered workflows, automation systems, copilots, agentic experiences, or other AI-assisted products\nExperience creating or contributing to design systems, shared patterns, and scalable UI foundations\nComfort incorporating AI tools into design exploration, prototyping, iteration, and day-to-day workflows\nExperience working in a startup or high-growth environment, with comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments\nWhat Success Looks Like\nShip high-quality, end-to-end product design for major features, from concept through launch and iteration\nBuild trusted partnerships with Product and Engineering that improve solution quality and execution speed\nBring the voice of the customer into product decisions through direct engagement and thoughtful synthesis\nContribute to shared patterns and design guidance that raise consistency and quality across the product\nExercise strong judgment about where to invest depth versus speed, helping the team move faster without lowering the bar\nWhy Join Numa\nWe believe in everyone's growth\nBe part of an industry leader named the #1 fastest-growing AI Automotive company by Inc. 5000\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 CAD\nEquity package\nFlexible PTO\nFully Paid Group Insurance\nAt Numa, you'll have the chance to represent game-changing technology in an industry that's ready for innovation.
