You’ll design and build core infrastructure, improve service reliability and observability, and ensure the platform’s scalability as we handle increasing transaction volumes and integrations.\nThis is a high-leverage, foundational role: your work will define the architecture and technical direction of our infrastructure platform while directly impacting our customers’ experience and the company’s trajectory.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDesign and build highly scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support critical APIs, services, and data pipelines.\n\nLead infrastructure architecture decisions for performance, observability, and fault tolerance.\n\nDrive improvements in system reliability, monitoring, and incident response.\n\nCollaborate closely with product, platform, and data engineering teams to enable rapid feature development without compromising stability.\n\nAutomate infrastructure management through infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.\n\nChampion best practices in operational excellence, disaster recovery, and distributed systems design.\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\n7+ years of experience building and scaling backend or infrastructure systems in high-growth environments.\n\nProficiency in Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms).\n\nExperience managing containerized workloads using tools like Kubernetes, ECS, or similar.\n\nExpertise in observability tooling (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) and monitoring pipelines.\n\nProven ability to design fault-tolerant, distributed systems at scale.\n\nStrong debugging and performance optimization skills across the stack.\n\nExceptional collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering cross-functionally.\n\nStartup mindset: Not scared of ambiguity and hungry for rapid growth\n\nIntensity & Ownership: This is not a 9-5 -
