You will work directly in the platforms, investigate security events, write queries and automation, troubleshoot controls, and continuously improve our security capabilities across Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS.\nWhat you will do\nEngineer Microsoft Security Controls\nBuild, configure, and tune Microsoft Entra ID controls, including Conditional Access, identity governance, privileged access, and authentication security.\nReview access requests, exclusions, and security exceptions from a technical risk perspective.\nConfigure and maintain Microsoft Intune security baselines, compliance policies, endpoint controls, and automated workflows.\nOperate and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps.\nConfigure and tune Microsoft Purview DLP, information protection, and compliance controls.\nTroubleshoot control failures, integration issues, and gaps in security coverage.\nDetect and Respond to Threats\nWrite and maintain KQL queries, Microsoft Sentinel detections, analytics rules, dashboards, and workbooks.\nBuild automated response playbooks and SOAR workflows.\nPerform alert triage, technical investigations, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.\nAnalyze logs, endpoint activity, identity events, email threats, and cloud activity.\nParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule for security incidents and escalations.\nManage Vulnerabilities and Cloud Risk\nOperate vulnerability scanning and security assessment tools.\nAnalyze findings, prioritize risks, and verify that remediation is effective.\nMonitor Azure and AWS for misconfigurations, excessive permissions, compliance gaps, and emerging threats.\nConfigure and improve Cloud Security Posture Management capabilities.\nWork directly with infrastructure teams to resolve technical security issues.\nAutomate and Improve\nUse PowerShell and/or Python to automate repetitive security tasks and operational workflows.\nIntegrate security platforms and improve the quality of security data and alerts.\nTest new features and determine how they can strengthen security operations.\nWork with vendors when specialized technical support or platform expertise is required.\nConduct technical security assessments of third-party architectures and services.\nAdminister KnowBe4 phishing simulations and security awareness campaigns.\n\nWhat you have\nRequired Experience\nAt least five years of hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud security, security operations, or a related technical role.\nDemonstrated experience directly configuring and operating Microsoft 365 E5 security technologies in an enterprise environment.\nStrong experience with security monitoring, threat detection, incident investigation, and vulnerability management.\nExperience writing KQL queries and developing Microsoft Sentinel detections.\nExperience automating security tasks using PowerShell and/or Python.\nExperience securing and monitoring AWS environments.\nExperience implementing or operating a Cloud Security Posture Management solution.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nTechnical Expertise\nMicrosoft Entra ID\nMicrosoft Intune\nMicrosoft Defender suite\nMicrosoft Sentinel and KQL\nMicrosoft Purview\nMicrosoft 365 Security and Compliance\nAzure and AWS security\nAWS IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Config\nPowerShell and/or Python\nIncident response and vulnerability management\nPreferred Certifications\nOne or more of the following would be an asset:\nMicrosoft SC-200, SC-300, or SC-100\nCISSP\nAWS Certified Security - Specialty\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nBe part of an evolutionary journey in the audience measurement and data space; work on exciting projects, add value & make a positive impact to our Company.\nCompetitive salary and benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision and Personal Spending Account - employer paid premiums).\nFlexible Work location (on-site offices in Toronto and Montreal, remote - work from home, hybrid as required per role).\nContinuous learning and developmentvia Percipio, our Learning Management System.\nBe part of additional programs such as MentorMe, which helps our employee’s network, and grow within the organization.\nLeadership Training offerings for new and emerging leaders.\nCultureof great teams, coworkers and supportive leadership.\nPerkopolis: Participation in a program that provides exclusive discounts on products and services to employees.
