The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing technical direction across multiple teams while mentoring and supporting other engineers.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead the design and evolution of Oneview's data platform architecture, defining standards and best practices across data storage, integration, analytics, and governance.\nDrive adoption and implementation of Snowflake-based solutions for reporting, analytics, AI-enabled data products, and enterprise data warehousing initiatives for Oneview.\nOwn database architecture, performance tuning, operational excellence, and cost optimization across Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server environments for Oneview, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and fit for purpose.\nDesign and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions, enabling high-volume application data to be leveraged for reporting, analytics, and data products.\nDrive the development of analytics, self-service reporting, and intelligent data capabilities, including semantic models, BI platform integration, and Snowflake Cortex-powered experiences.\nPartner with backend engineers to design and evolve scalable Java-based services, APIs, and distributed systems supporting business-critical applications.\nContribute to cloud-native platform development using AWS services and modern DevOps practices.\nDevelop Python-based solutions for automation, data processing, orchestration, and platform tooling.\nPartner with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define scalable, long-term technical solutions.\nDrive engineering standards, platform consistency, and operational excellence across teams.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n10+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-scale applications and platforms.\nDemonstrated experience leading complex technical projects with minimal supervision.\nStrong relational database (SQL Server or PostgreSQL) expertise with demonstrated experience in query optimization and database performance tuning for transactional applications.\nStrong experience in designing, implementing, and operating Snowflake-based data platforms in production environments.\nStrong understanding of data engineering, data warehousing, dimensional modelling and OLAP concepts.\nFamiliarity with modern BI and analytics tools such as Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.\nExperience with Snowflake Cortex, including semantic views, AI/ML capabilities, agents, AI-assisted analytics, or the development of AI-powered data products, is highly desirable.\nStrong Java development experience using Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.\nStrong AWS experience including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Infrastructure as Code solutions.\nStrong Python development skills for automation, orchestration, and data engineering workloads.\nUnderstanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms such as Kafka.\nPractical experience using AI tools to improve software development workflows.\nStrong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.\nProven ability to influence technical direction beyond an immediate team and drive adoption of engineering best practices.\nWhere You’ll Work:\nThis is a hybrid role, open to all who reside within a commutable distance of our Singaporea office.\nAn important note on salary:\nThe annual pay range for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed above.
