In this role, you will analyze and validate the business needs of project stakeholders and translate those business needs to successful implementation in enterprise level systems, introducing AI-driven capabilities where appropriate. You will configure applications and systems and provide direction on the best use of these systems to enable business users to be successful. You will be responsible for the operation of application systems, including ensuring all supporting infrastructure is properly configured, supported, and documented. You will work with other business systems developers, software developers, systems administrators, business analysts and end users to ensure our application systems are processing data correctly, available according to service level agreements and updated to meet functionality and efficiency requirements.\nYour role will focus on daily operations as a priority, ensuring systems are meeting or exceeding service levels in terms of performance, capacity and availability. You will function as a subject matter expert for multiple applications and systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for application configuration, testing, enhancement, upgrades and development. This role requires strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.\nYou will:\nDeliver application support for NetSuite, Jira, Hubspot and PowerBI - both operational and project-based. Prior experience is considered an asset but is not a requirement for this role.\nDevelop and maintain custom business application solutions using JavaScript, Python and other scripting languages.\nResolve user incident tickets and fulfill service requests related to applications and systems according to the applicable service level.\nFollow our corporate change process for all application and system changes.\nMaintain a high level of end user satisfaction through prompt and courteous communication.\nParticipate in research on software and hardware products to support strategic planning of applications.\nAnalyze user and functional system requirements and identify conflicts.\nWork with project teams to prioritize collected requirements.\nWrite functional requirement specifications using standard templates following industry standards.\nAssist in the development of operational level agreements with other IS and business teams, as well as vendor agreements.\nMaintain application configuration documentation.\nProvide subject matter expertise and ad hoc training to IS and business teams as required.\nInitiate application and system lifecycle upgrade projects when required.\nTranslate requirement specifications into application configurations for applications and systems.\nCreate specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to the developers and project teams.\nDevelop working prototypes to support requirements definitions.\nSupport the roll out of project and application or system enhancements.\nCommunicate changes, enhancements and modifications to project managers, sponsors and other stakeholders.\nFacilitate data imports/export, data cleansing and data integrity projects in conjunction with data analysts.\nWork with team members to develop ad-hoc reports as requested by user groups or stakeholders and perform analysis on data as required. PowerBI experience is considered an asset.\nCommunicate regularly with business users to support them in their role and provide information and training on new features and functionality.\nYou have:\nDatabase, experience\nPrograming knowledge, PowerShell, Javascript or Python\nComputer Science or Information Systems degree, diploma, or certification. Bachelor's degree preferred.\n2-4 years’ experience supporting server-based applications and software as a service applications.\nIn depth knowledge of one or more CRM, document management, reporting, sales, marketing and development applications.\nProven experience with development or scripting languages.\nA strong desire to provide superior customer service.\nExperience with business and technical requirements analysis.\nA history of working with a multi-disciplinary team within a defined Project Lifecycle Management framework.\nProven experience creating systems analysis and support processes.\nGreat task management skills\nAn ability to create documentation in both technical and user-friendly language.\nA desire to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment.\nA willingness to work after hours when required to execute and manage changes in production environments.\nAn ability to work in an on-call rotation if required.\nWe offer a competitive total compensation package, some unique perks and benefits, and an open and collaborative working environment in our downtown Calgary office.\nApply online at nureva.com by close of business on October 23, 2026.
