Rowe Price, and other leading investors.\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for a skilled engineer to help build and maintain release and OTA update infrastructure. Our team, Fleet Connectivity, builds the infrastructure to connect and update Nuro’s fleets. Our engineers work on the tech stack across the cloud and robots to build reliable, efficient systems for network connectivity, telemetry, and software updates, which is critical to the advancement and scale up of our AV vision. \nAbout the Work\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for our mission-critical systems like release infrastructure, vehicle connectivity, and OTA updates.\nManage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, internally and cross-team.\nWrite well-designed, testable code that aligns with our code quality standards.\nTrack and improve performance of our release system, defining and tracking KPIs, and proposing and implementing optimizations to improve the cost, time, and space of builds.\nDevelop test and validation programs to ensure the robustness of system architecture and data flows.\nImprove documentation and participate in on-call rotation during business hours\nAbout You\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.\n2+ years of industry experience with large-scale distributed systems.\nStrong proficiency in Go or C++.\nKnowledge of Unix/Linux environments and Bash scripting.\nAbility to turn high-level requirements into a detailed, cohesive system design.\nExperience with data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for large-scale distributed systems.\nBonus Points\nExperience with networking, cellular connectivity, data transfer, or related topics.\nPrior experience with OTA updates and execution frameworks like Temporal.\nPython programming experience.\nAt Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $145,830 and $219,000 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
