# R&D Engineer 3 (Electrical Design)

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for design engineering of electrical systems. Additionally, oversees and coordinates work with designated subcontractors. Possesses excellent knowledge of functional disciplines and their practical application and applicable industry codes and regulations. Responsible for making technical decisions regarding electrical systems to ensure compliance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, RTOs and ISOs requirements. Reports to the Computational Innovation Manager within the Office of Technology group. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates the design of electrical systems for microgrids and Data Centers Establishes and reviews project requirements, develops project schedules, and coordinates their implementation Creates and reviews electrical system design work products such as, one-line diagrams, equipment requirement specifications, functional specifications, system design descriptions, engineering studies, engineering reports, Inspection, Test, Analysis & Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC), and associated calculations Performs interdisciplinary review of work products of interfacing disciplines and owner review/acceptance of subcontractor work
