You will report directly to the VP of Product Management and will be dedicated to mentoring your team, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning technical execution with broader corporate strategy.\nYour Role\n\nProvide executive leadership to define and execute the strategic roadmap for the core AHV hypervisor development.\nRecruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of product managers, operationalizing team success and career growth.\nPartner with engineering, sales, and marketing leadership to drive cross-functional roadmap execution and resolve complex operational friction.\nEngage with C-level customer executives to evangelize the AHV vision, synthesize strategic feedback, and advocate for enterprise customer needs.\nTrack, manage, and report on core business KPIs, driving continuous improvement in product adoption and market penetration.\nWhat You Will Bring \n\n10+ years of product management and engineering leadership experience in enterprise data center products, virtualization, IaaS, or cloud computing.\nExtensive managerial experience with a proven track record of recruiting, mentoring, and scaling high-performance product teams.\nDirect domain expertise with the hardware virtualization ecosystem (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM, AWS EC2, GCP, Azure).\nStrong technical fundamentals in IaaS, virtual hardware, high availability, and the Linux kernel to maintain credibility with core engineering.\nExecutive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead high-level business discussions.\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time.\nWork Arrangement\nHybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.\nThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 243,000 and USD $ 486,000 per year.\nHowever, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
