With our most recent fiscal quarter, Nutanix reported that AHV is in use by 90+% of our customer base. AHV is also the core software platform for our Nutanix Clusters cloud solution, Nutanix Kubernetes Platform, Nutanix Agentic AI, End User Computing, and more. AHV is the heartbeat of our hybrid cloud infrastructure platform. \nYou will contribute and own key marquis features on the platform, and drive and measure adoption success rates. Our work setup is hybrid, which allows for flexibility; however, we do ask that team members come into the office three days a week to facilitate collaboration and enhance team synergy. Additionally, while travel is not a regular requirement, there may be occasions when it will be necessary to meet with stakeholders or customers in person, ensuring you have the opportunity to build those valuable connections.\nYour Role\nHelp define and execute roadmap for core AHV hypervisor development\nRegular customer outreach, collection, and synthesis of customer feedback into prioritized requirements.\nCreate detailed market requirements documents (MRDs) and actionable product requirement documents (PRDs) for each release\nCoordinate with cross functional teams (product management, engineering, program management, support, marketing, etc.) to drive roadmap execution.\nTrack, manage, and report on KPIs on an ongoing basis.\nEvangelize, provide customer advocacy and briefings to deliver and promote AHV messaging.\nProvide ongoing field support as needed to drive high customer satisfaction and engagement.\nDrive field and partner enablement in collaboration with marketing and enablement teams\nAuthor, build and maintain compelling internal and external facing collateral in organization with outbound teams\nWhat You Will Bring\nBS or MS in Computer Science or related field is strongly preferred. MBA nice to have.\nDirect experience or strong, demonstrated familiarity with the hardware virtualization ecosystem including one or more of the following: VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM, AWS EC2, GCP, Azure\nExperience with enterprise class customers \n5+ years of product, engineering, and/or product management experience in enterprise data center products,virtualization, IaaS, cloud computing, or related offerings.\nStrong fundamentals in IaaS and virtualization including, but not limited to, virtual hardware and software, vGPU, guest OS compatibility, migration features, IO devices, API/CLI, CPU and NUMA, high availability, and the Linux kernel.\nStrong understanding of components of enterprise offerings and frameworks.\nDemonstrated ability to innovate, build and launch successful products\nAttention to detail in executing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies\nStrong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions\nExcellent communication skills\nProven ability to deliver on commitments in a multi geographic distributed team\nStrong problem solving and analytical thinking skills\nAptitude to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority\nHigh energy and excellent teamwork skills\nHave a bias for action and demonstrate ownership for domain.\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time.\nWork Arrangement\nHybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.\nThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 195,000 and USD $ 391,000 per year.\nHowever, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
