The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their customers, incorporating statistical modeling and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources (i.e.: Nielsen or other syndicated consumer data).The Demand Planner acts as the first point of contact between the supply chain and commercial organization. This position leads monthly demand consensus reviews and is responsible for ensuring changes to the forecast are made and communicated in a timely manner, and overall forecast accuracy.\nWhat You're Good At:\nYou will develop monthly demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation across a rolling 12-month horizon. This role will include communicating financial plans, forecastsand risks/opportunities in key meetings.\n\nYou will review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.\n\nYou will interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.\n\nYou will use and maintainthe Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.\n\nYou will closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning.\n\nLead monthly demand consensus reviews across all assigned channels and product lines.\n\nYou will prepare and lead presentations ofthe monthly S&OPreadout.\n\nForecast should achieve < 35% WAPE and a rolling 4 monthbias +/- 10%\n\nYou will work closely with colleagues to maintaininformation consistency, establishstandard practices, and expand systems expertise.\n\nFurthermore, you will engage in a team dynamic that promotes both individual and collective success, fostering an inclusive, accountable, and results-driven environment that values diversity.\n\nWhat You Contribute:\nMinimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or applicable field (finance, statistics, etc.)\n\nBA/BS college degree or its equivalent.\n\nEcommerce Planning /forecasting experience preferred\n\nIBF or APICS Certification preferred\n\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of demand planning software (Logility, Demand Works, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)\n\nDemonstrated intermediate understanding of time series basedforecasting methods and models.\n\nStrong oral and written communication skills.
