The Planner position is accountable for Nutrabolt’s Fill Rate and Gross Inventory levels.What You're Good At:\nDevelop supply plans at multiple levels of aggregation to drive alignment between demand and supply\nReview inventory profile and recommend purchase orders with assigned suppliers to manage appropriate inventory levels at our DC’s.\nActively maintain planning parameters within MRP to optimize inventory turn goals while balancing cost, service, and delivery\nWork with purchasing and sourcing to review vendor allocations monthly and make changes as needed based on long-term goals and strategies.\nCollaborate with purchasing to identify and mitigate gaps; devise an early warning system for issue identification; and develop contingency plans to improve service in a timely manner.\nMaximize inventory performance by partnering cross-functionally with Commercial and Supply Chain partners to develop and execute appropriate course(s) of action for product launches, product rollouts, inventory shortages, excess inventory and end-of-life product disposition.\nEnsure timely communication regarding inventory levels and key performance indicators to raise awareness of inventory issues and influence supply chain performance.\nParticipate and present in the monthly S&OP process with vendors and 3PL partners by providing reporting, root cause analysis, slide preparation, and KPI comments as required.\nInitiate transfer orders to balance the network and mitigate risk.\nConstantly pursue process improvement to achieve high performance results.\nWhat You Contribute:\nBA degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.\nMBA or other advanced degree a plus.\nAPICS or Six Sigma certification preferred.\n5+ years of related professional and progressive experience in supply chain in a global company with diverse product and sourcing portfolios.\nMin 3+ years’ experience in supply planning, demand planning, or similar position required\nExceptional organizational and planning skills\nBasic communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to gather dates and a high attention to detail.\nSelf-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.\nStrong sense of urgency and results orientation.\nProficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.\nBasic knowledge of descriptive statistics, forecasting, or demand planning preferred\nWhy Nutrabolt?\nWellness Benefits\nNutrabolt cares about our teammates’ physical, mental, and financial wellness by providing benefits like: competitive health insurance, life insurance, mental wellness programs, 401K matching, and a Lifestyle Spending Account.\nLifestyle Perks\nWe offer unlimited vacation paid time off and volunteer time off.
