You'll translate demand into robust, executable production plans while balancing capacity, labour, raw material availability, quality requirements and logistics constraints.\nWorking closely with Operations, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality, Formulation and Supply Chain teams, you'll help drive service excellence, manage risk and support informed decision-making across the business.\nAs a senior member of the planning team, you'll combine hands-on scheduling with data-led decision making, risk management, process governance and coaching. Your success will be measured by your ability to protect service levels, reduce avoidable downtime and changeovers, improve schedule adherence and enable better cross-functional decision making through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.\nOwn your impact. Own your success.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and maintain robust, executable production plans that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, labour availability, raw materials, quality requirements, formulation needs, warehouse constraints and logistics capability.\nTranslate demand and confirmed customer requirements into clear production priorities, providing direction to Operations and ensuring plans remain achievable and aligned to business objectives.\nWork closely with Customer Service, Demand Planning, Material Planning, Procurement, Formulation, Quality, Production, Warehouse, Transport and external supply points to coordinate activities and resolve planning challenges.\nMonitor risks to the production plan, including material shortages, quality holds, equipment breakdowns, labour constraints, logistics disruptions and changes in customer demand, coordinating rapid replanning when required.\nSupport short, medium and long-term capacity planning by providing visibility of constraints, highlighting risks and opportunities, and contributing to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle.\nProtect customer service by balancing competing priorities and ensuring risks and trade-offs are visible and understood by stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate planning data, reporting and governance standards, using data and insights to improve schedule adherence, reduce inefficiencies, minimise avoidable downtime and support better business decisions.\nLead, coach and support a team of Production Planners, ensuring appropriate cover is in place while driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness and operational performance.\nWho We're Looking For\nWe're looking for a confident and collaborative planning professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing competing priorities to deliver results.\nYou'll likely bring:\nExperience in production planning, supply planning or manufacturing scheduling.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nExperience working within a complex manufacturing or supply chain environment.\nThe ability to translate customer demand into practical, executable production plans.\nExperience working across multiple stakeholders and functions to influence outcomes and resolve challenges.\nStrong communication skills with the confidence to challenge constructively when required.\nExperience identifying and managing operational risks while maintaining service levels.\nA continuous improvement mindset and a passion for driving operational excellence.\nLeadership experience, or experience managing and developing planners, would be advantageous.\nWhat You'll Receive\nAs part of Nutreco, you'll be a member of the SHV family, a diverse group of companies with a global footprint.
