Energy and passion power our business and we look for candidates who share in that excitement to help us continue to build something special.\nThe role\nThe Warehouse Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the Cranford facility's warehouse and production floor, ensuring customer orders and production goals are met on time, at an efficient cost, and to a high standard of safety and quality. This role oversees staffing, workflow, facility conditions, and team development across warehouse fulfillment and production teams, and serves as the on-site leader in the absence of other operations leadership. This role reports to the Sr. Operations Manager. In case of an absence, then the Production Supervisor will serve as the backup.\nThis is a full-time position with scheduled hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday. The schedule may be subject to change based on organizational and operational needs.\nHow you'll make an impact\nTeam & Production Management\nLead daily kickoff meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and relevant announcements to the team\nBuild weekly and daily staffing plans that align headcount and schedules to forecast order and production volume across teams\nManage the team to ensure all orders and production runs are completed on time, at an efficient cost, and with high quality\nDelegate tasks effectively across leads and teams to maintain workflow and optimal use of resources\nReview employee hours and staffing schedules to minimize cost to operate the facility (e.g., reduce unnecessary overtime and temp hours)\nTrack key performance indicators and audit completed work (e.g., packed orders) to identify and correct deviations from quality standards\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and increased efficiency\nPeople Leadership\nMaintain employee hours, attendance tracking, and other HR-related needs\nDevelop team members' skills to solve day-to-day operational issues and support short- and long-term goals\nMaintain open, frequent communication with employees and use engagement survey feedback to guide areas of focus\nProvide coaching, feedback, and discipline in partnership with leads to support employee performance and adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and policies\nPartner with management to recruit and hire new employees\nTrain employees and provide ongoing coaching to support continuous improvement\nCommunicate terminations when necessary and complete associated processes (e.g., PAFs, manager notifications)\nFacility, Safety & Quality\nEnsure SOPs, GMPs, and OSHA regulations are followed for material movement from raw materials through production to finished product\nRespond to operational and safety concerns, including safety incidents, in a timely and proactive manner\nMaintain a clean, safe working environment and complete facility walk-throughs, including opening/closing procedures, alarm checks, and equipment checks (e.g., charging stations, ice levels, temperatures)\nCollaborate with the maintenance team to keep equipment in good condition and minimize downtime\nOversee facility systems and equipment issues (e.g., alarm system, HVAC, internet) and manage the relationship with the property manager, escalating as needed\nEnsure trucks are unloaded and shelved in a timely manner, and that inventory is accurately maintained for restocking and picking\nProcess return shipments and communicate with Customer Experience as needed\nCross-Functional & Administrative\nServe as supervisor on duty for the warehouse or production floor as needed, and act as backup coverage across functions in the absence of other leaders\nAttend weekly Operations meetings to stay current on company-wide information and relay relevant updates to the team\nMaintain regular and predictable attendance; may require off-shift work and occasional operation of manufacturing/warehouse equipment\nWhat you’ll bring\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent; certifications in food safety or manufacturing a plus\n3-5 years of experience in a production or warehouse setting, preferably in the food industry\n2-3 years of supervisory or team management experience\nKnowledge of food safety regulations and experience with HACCP or similar food safety systems\nComputer proficiency including Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)\nStrong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track KPIs and manage staffing to demand\nBilingual - Spanish is a plus!\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed\nWillingness to work in an environment with exposure to product allergens (including nuts, powders, etc.)\nWhat we offer\nA high-growth and rewarding role in a foundationally strong and rapidly evolving business\nAnnual Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 plus annual bonus\nExcellent benefits including a 401K Match\nPaid Maternity, Adoption and Paternity leave\nAll the Nuts.com snacks your heart desires + a 40% employee discount\n\nEEO STATEMENT\n\n Nuts.com is an equal opportunity employer.
