We are always looking for exceptional talent to join us on the journey!\nYour Mission\nAs a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, forging strong strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth across multiple sectors. This role requires a commercially minded professional with deep knowledge of the payments industry who can successfully position Nuvei’s advanced payment solutions to potential clients.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the commercial development of the Cyprus market, identifying and executing growth opportunities across target merchant segments.\nBuild and execute a market strategy focused on acquiring enterprise and mid-market merchants within key verticals.\nDevelop and manage relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders, founders, and commercial leaders.\nLeverage existing industry networks and build strategic relationships with merchants, partners, and local ecosystem participants.\nOwn the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through commercial negotiation and contract execution.\nAct as the local market expert, providing insights on competitive landscape, industry trends, merchant needs, and growth opportunities.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders across Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Account Management to support complex sales opportunities.\nRepresent Nuvei at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence and generate pipeline.\nDeliver accurate commercial forecasting and contribute to regional growth planning.\nRequirements\n7+ years of experience in payments, fintech, acquiring, or related financial services industries.\nProven track record of developing new markets and acquiring enterprise merchants.\nStrong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including PSPs, acquiring, payment methods, fraud, and merchant payment strategies.\nExisting network of merchants, partners, or industry contacts within Cyprus and/or the broader payments ecosystem.\nDemonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.\nExperience negotiating commercial agreements with enterprise organizations.\nStrong commercial acumen and ability to operate independently in a market-building role.\nAbility to engage and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.\nFluency in English and Greek required; additional languages are considered an advantage.\nBenefits\nPrivate Health Care\nProvident Fund\nCompetitive holiday allowance\nNuvei is an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates collaboration and innovation and is committed to developing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
