The ideal candidate has experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, with familiarity with test automation tools. Candidates must have an active Secret security clearance and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.\n\nIn assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.\nWhat you will do\nExecute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for ServiceNow applications and workflows.\nDevelop, document, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and UAT scripts based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.\nPerform manual testing of forms, reports, configurations, workflows, and role-based access controls.\nExecute and maintain automated tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) or comparable test automation tools, as applicable.\nValidate application enhancements, defect fixes, integrations, data updates, and release changes across development and test environments.\nIdentify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.\nCollaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, confirm expected outcomes, and resolve testing issues.\nSupport UAT coordination, release readiness, production validation, and the collection of test evidence.\nMaintain accurate testing documentation and ensure results align with applicable security, compliance, and project requirements.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, and release planning to support quality delivery.\n\nWhat you will bring\nU.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.\nAt least 3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering.\nAt least 3 years of experience testing ServiceNow applications or comparable enterprise workflow platforms.\nAt least 3 years of experience working in Agile delivery environments, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint ceremonies.\nA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nHands-on experience developing and executing test cases, documenting results, identifying defects, and validating fixes.\nExperience performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.\nFamiliarity with workflow dependencies, system integrations, data validation, and role-based access controls.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to thorough test coverage, accurate documentation, and clear defect reporting.\nThe ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, adapt to changing requirements, and take ownership of assigned deliverables.\nSound judgment in resolving issues independently and escalating concerns when appropriate.\n\nIt would be great if you also had\nExperience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) or other test automation tools.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.\nISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification.\nExperience supporting federal technology programs or working in environments with applicable security and compliance requirements.\nExperience supporting enterprise application enhancements, software releases, and workflow changes.\n\nBenefits\nNuvitek is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package:\nMedical Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nDisability and Life Insurance\nParental Leave\n401K\nPaid Time Off\nEqual Opportunity Employer Statement\n Nuvitek is an equal-opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.\nAI & Interview Technology Disclosure\nNüvitek uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to assist with the review and organization of job applications.
