We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives.\nResponsibilities\nWe are seeking an experienced Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Manager to join NV5 and lead our growing team. Responsibilities include:\nGroup Leader:\nResponsible for the management of construction materials field testing and inspection staff.\nExceptional client service and communication.\nProject Management:\nManage projects from inception through completion and have primary responsibility for managing client expectations and ensuring that delivery meets expectations.\nManage projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.\nParticipate in training and mentoring of staff.\nImplement and maintain safety plans.\nConduct annual and interim performance reviews.\n Monitor and assess progress toward performance goals.\nCertifications - Assures that all accreditations and certifications of field staff are maintained and up to date.\nQualifications\nBS in civil engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering or Geology (preferred)\nA minimum of 4 years of experience in construction materials testing \nProficient with MicroSoft Office Suite\nAbility to work as part of a team, think creatively, and problem solve.\nDemonstrated experience with project planning and writing/reviewing technical specifications and reports.\nKnowledge of building codes and construction industry standards. \nCertifications/Licenses:\nRegistered Civil Engineer or Certified Engineering Geologist (preferred)\nACI Concrete Field Technician\nICC Certifications\nNCDOT Conventional and Nuclear Density\nNV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities.\nNV5 provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
