For us, helping you grow your career is good business.\nWe are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in providing project management on higher education, commercial, and industrial projects. The position is for an experienced individual with a track record in all phases of project development and project management including managing design and engineering consultants, contractors, and collaborating with both municipal and private clients.\nNV5 is accepting resumes for individuals who are team players, self-motivated, energetic and goal oriented. NV5 offers competitive salary and benefits designed to provide you with choice and flexibility to fit your individual needs.\nResponsibilities\nProject Leadership and Delivery\nLead a project team to deliver projects on time and on budget.\nAssemble and manage internal and external project teams including planners, architects, consulting engineers, contractors, vendors, and consultants.\nLead the development of projects from inception to completion by defining scope, schedule, and budget in alignment with client strategic goals.\nReview and monitor design and construction documents from concept design through final completion, including review of change-management documents, for compliance with criteria, standards, and specifications on each project.\nAssist in the process of determining requirements for and lead the process of obtaining permits, entitlements, and other requirements of Authorities Having Jurisdiction.\nIdentify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.\nOversee quality assurance and quality control processes.\nClient Management\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.\nFacilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to clients and senior leadership.\nIdentify opportunities for additional services and business development.\nFinancial Management\nDevelop, maintain, and report scope, schedule, and budget status throughout the project, including review and recommendation of all project invoices.\nCreate and maintain, or monitor, comprehensive project documentation for project financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and planned resourcing.\nReview and approve generation of project invoices.\nBusiness Development\nDevelop and evaluate RFP's and contracts.\nLead project acquisition efforts including identifying opportunities and working collaboratively with the Marketing team in preparing bids and interviews for jobs.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, Engineering, or Facilities Management required.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong knowledge of project delivery methods including:\nDesign-Bid-Build\nDesign-Build\nConstruction Manager at Risk (CMAR)\nIntegrated Project Delivery (IPD)\nIn-depth knowledge of building and facilities design and construction projects.\nDesire and ability to work independently with excellent people skills and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively on large and diverse projects.\nMinimum 10 years of progressive project management experience.\nSoftware required:\nBasic Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook\nBluebeam\nSoftware desired:\nAutodesk Construction Cloud (Forma)\nProcore\nDeltek Vantagepoint\nLicenses and Certifications\nProfessional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desirable but not required.","description_format":"text","description_chars":4058,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":10,"management_years_min":10,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence","Energy & Utilities","Real Estate"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T10:49:55Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-09-30T13:02:57Z"}],"liveness":null,"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/nv5-senior-project-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/nv5-senior-project-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-30T17:34:19Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"search","counted_by":"address","units_charged":0,"used_today":0,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":null,"resets_at":"2026-10-01T00:00:00Z"}}}
