You will collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineering professionals while gaining hands-on experience in project planning, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to build your technical skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment while contributing to the successful delivery of innovative, sustainable, and high-quality infrastructure solutions.\nWhy Join Us?\nBe part of a dynamic, intelligent team that values innovation and continuous learning.\nWork on diverse and challenging projects that will expand your expertise.\nEnjoy opportunities for professional growth and development.\nContribute to impactful projects with a leader in the geotechnical and built civil engineering environment.\nResponsibilities\nWill be conducting geotechnical investigations and field studies 75%-80%\nPrepares, checks, and reviews working plans, detail drawings, and specifications for layout and construction of site layout, foundations, structural steel, and underground utilities while under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager, project engineer, or project managers. \nDevelopment of 2D and 3D construction/layout drawings for site grading/drainage/permit drawings.\nCoordinate Civil and Structural designs with Mechanical and Electrical / I&C disciplines.\nReview and compare Civil / Structural subcontractor drawings against base models for accuracy and completeness.\nMaintain or develop new project drawing files for all related drawings in accordance with company standards and procedures\nWill be working in a collaborative environment made up of Geotechnical, Civil, and Geologic engineers and designers.\nQualifications\nSpecific Knowledge & Skills:\nSoils, concrete, and asphalt knowledge and materials experience\nProficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D Design software\nMS Excel Spreadsheet software\nMS Word Processing software\nGIS software is a plus\nEducation and/or Experience:\nCivil Engineering or a master's with a focus in geotechnical engineering\n1-4 years of experience is a plus\nEIT working towards a PE license\nRequirement: Must be able to come into the office 100% in Nevada City, CA\nThe pay range for this California position is $30.00 - $45.00 per hour. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate.
