We're especially interested in team members who are excited to be part of a supportive, team-focused environment.\n For more than 30 years, we've proudly served the Denver community by providing exceptional veterinary care while building lasting relationships with our clients, patients, and one another.\n -------------------------\n About Tender Touch Animal Hospital\n At Tender Touch Animal Hospital, we believe outstanding patient care starts with an outstanding team.\n Our hospital offers:\n AAHA-Accredited small animal practice\n AAFP Cat Friendly Certified hospital\n Four full-time and one part-time veterinarian\n High-quality preventive care, dentistry, surgery, and diagnostics\n Collaborative culture with strong doctor support\n Loyal client base that values quality medicine and long-term relationships\n Our hospital was recently recognized as Best Veterinary Practice in Baker (2026) and received the NVA Best in Show Award 2 years in a row, reflecting our team's commitment to exceptional patient care and hospital excellence.\n -------------------------\n What You'll Do\n Follows established policy and procedures in scheduling clients for prompt treatment of ill and/or injured patients, as well as proper scheduling of patients in need of vaccinations, rechecks, surgeries, in-hospital procedures, and other services that require the doctors’ and technicians’ time.\n Helps with client reminders for annual health assessments, parasite checks, dentistry, senior care, etc.\n Pulls patient charts for daily scheduled appointments and collects information to make necessary updates, including the creation of new charts, when appropriate.\n Performs over-the-counter sales of merchandise such as food and special diets, shampoos, flea and tick control products, heartworm, etc. Demonstrates a technical knowledge of products and is capable of assisting clients with their product needs.\n Invoices clients, collects fees, makes change, imprints credit card forms, and obtains authorization for credit charges following the credit policies of the hospital.\n Maintains appearance and cleanliness of the waiting room and reception area, including re-stocking of products, office supplies, client educational materials, hospital brochures, etc.\n Prepares and sends welcome letters, new client information packets, referral and thank you letters, condolences, long wait notes, and other correspondence for the doctors and/or Hospital Manager.\n Demonstrates a full working knowledge of PIMS procedures and functional applications.\n -------------------------\n Skills and Basic Qualifications\n High school diploma or GED required.\n Must have a minimum of 1 year working in the veterinary industry\n Must be able to sit for longer periods of time and perform desk work\n Must be able to respond to emergencies\n Proper telephone etiquette and client service excellence\n Excellent oral and written communication skills\n Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, e-mail, and practice management software experience preferred)\n Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and still attend to details\n -------------------------\n Schedule\n Four 10-hour shifts\n Typical schedules:\n 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM\n 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM\n Closed Sundays\n Closed on major holidays\n Half days on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve\n -------------------------\n Compensation & Benefits\n $20-$22/hour, based on experience\n Quarterly incentive bonus opportunities\n Medical, dental, and vision insurance\n 401(k)\n HSA/FSA options\n Life and disability insurance\n Paid time off\n Paid sick leave\n Paid holidays\n Two floating holidays\n Annual CE allowance\n Annual scrub allowance\n Employee pet discounts\n -------------------------\n Why Join Tender Touch Animal Hospital?\n What makes Tender Touch different isn't just the medicine-it's the people.\n Our team believes in supporting one another, sharing knowledge, and celebrating each other's successes.
