Great Customer Service Skills is a must.\nAs a Receptionist you will:\n ~ Schedule: 4 days a week, 9.5 hour shifts\n We are open Mon-Fri 7:30AM-5:30PM & Sat 7:30AM-1PM, schedules are usually 7:30AM- 6PM and 7:30PM-1:30PM on Saturday,\n ~ Check In and Check out Clients\n ~ Dispense Prescription items per Vet instructions\n ~ Schedule appointments\n ~ Phone skills to make calls and assist with scheduling\n ~ Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner\n ~ Use Avimark to add documentation and update client records\n ~ Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets and other teammates.\n ~ Demonstrate ability to show empathy toward clients and treat pets with compassion and respect.\n Responsibilities / Qualifications:\nKnowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.\nExperience with Avimark is preferred.\nAbility to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.\nPossession of organizational skills.\nCritical thinking - Understanding logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.\nMust possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment and ability to manage stressful situations.
