administer medications as prescribed\n ·Monitor anesthesia and post-operative recovery with attention to patient safety and comfort\n ·Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, cleaning, and observation\n ·Accurately document patient medical records and treatment plans in the hospital computer system\n ·Communicate with clients regarding treatment recommendations, home care instructions, and preventive health care\n ·Prepare and maintain surgical and exam areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment function\n ·Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately\n ·Maintain inventory and stock supplies as needed\n ·Uphold safety and infection control protocols at all times\n ·Support a positive hospital culture through teamwork, empathy, and respect toward clients, patients, and colleagues\n Qualifications\n ·Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program or equivalent experience\n ·Current state Veterinary Technician license (or ability to obtain) preferred\n ·Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and pharmacology\n ·Ability to work flexible schedules, including some weekends and holidays\n ·Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate and build rapport with clients\n ·Capable of handling stressful or emotionally charged situations calmly and
