This position requires extensive travel to customer sites and serves as the primary technical resource for electrical controls, PLC programming, HMI systems, servo motion control, and machine integration.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot and diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and industrial network issues.\nModify, maintain, and optimize Allen-Bradley and other PLC programs (Horner, Mitsubishi, GE Fanuc, etc.)\nSupport commissioning and startup of new equipment installations.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.\nDiagnose electrical failures involving sensors, motors, relays, safety circuits, and control components.\nTravel to customer sites throughout North America and International for service calls, installations, and commissioning projects.\nTrain customer maintenance and operations personnel on equipment functionality and controls systems.\nComplete detailed service reports documenting work performed, findings, and recommendations.\nIdentify opportunities for upgrades, retrofits, preventive maintenance programs, and additional service offerings.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or related field preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of industrial automation troubleshooting experience.\nMinimum 3 years of Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.\nExperience supporting packaging, material handling, robotics, or manufacturing equipment preferred.\nStrong understanding of Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, Ethernet/IP, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with packaging equipment, bagging systems, conveyors, robotics, or automated production equipment.\nExperience with Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB, or other industrial robots.\nKnowledge of UL508A and NFPA 70E standards.\nExperience with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to travel 80%+ throughout North America.\nAbility to work in manufacturing and industrial
