Position Summary Ensure uninterrupted production flow in assigned process. Provide problem support and coaching / on-the-job training to employees to ensure the day-to-day business unit department goals are being met. Communicate with a variety of support resources to resolve problems. Key role responsibilities Provide backup to the Production Supervisor for all assigned areas. Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving, decision making, as well as recognizing them for exceptional work. Ensure all employees are following safety, quality, and production procedures while maintaining key efficiency metrics Execute and coordinate employee training and personal development Provide coaching to team members to help improve performance and grow skilsets Knowledge of Lean principles in order to lead and participate in MDI, 5S, and Kaizen activities Drive out waste throughout department through the deployment of the Lean
