Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nAssemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures.\nAdjust, repair, or replace component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.\nRead and interpret schematic drawings and work orders to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.\nConnect electrical wiring between components according to the wiring print, specification sheet, and Bill of Material.\nMeasure and cut wire to accurate length.\nMark and tag components so that inventory can be tracked.\nPrepare finished product for shipping by packaging and touching up paint, etc.\nAssist in loading product, if required.\nPerform ongoing housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and orderly.\nYOU HAVE:\nEquipment Used: Hand tools such as screwdrivers, strippers, crimpers, tape measure, etc.\nCertification required: Ability to obtain and maintain fork truck license if required.\nSkills: Able to learn to read tape measure and electrical point-to-point prints. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalency (GED) preferred, but not required.\nLanguage Skills: Able to read and comprehend somewhat complex instructions. Able to write notes or simple correspondence.
