Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nAnalyze spend and perform detailed supply market analysis and track performance results.\nPartner with Project Leads and Managers to assist with material cost reduction projects.\nDevelop, document, and maintain common processes performed.\nSupport supply management software’s and systems becoming a subject matter expert.\nReview demand signals and place purchase orders to fulfill raw material component requirements.\nHandle open purchase order dates, monitor vendor on-time delivery, and support vendor development.\nMaintain data integrity in key system fields to ensure accurate demand signaling and order placement.\nUse data and analytics to identify supply risks and collaborate with suppliers and Strategic Sourcing to implement solutions.\nShare material availability updates with Production Planning, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.\nAnalyze inventory levels and stock positions to optimize raw material component availability.\nPartner with Strategic Sourcing to align on replenishment strategies and identify improvement opportunities.\nCollaborate with Quality teams on return material authorizations and engage suppliers in regular business reviews.\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (preferred).\nIdeally 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related field.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with ERP and MRP systems preferred.\nSkilled in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and forecast requirements.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.\nExperience in the Manufacturing industry or a related industry required.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
