In this role you will perform a variety of duties involved in assembly, packaging, and paint preparation.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nWork individually or as part of a team to assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package an entire product or component of a product according to Work Instructions.\n\nCompletes work based on specifications, drawings, job routings, and/or Work Instructions.\n\nSelects and moves production materials as required.\n\nMaintains equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation.\n\nMeets established safety, quality, and performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.\n\nRecords accurate information on Manufacturing Order and performs transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.\n\nComplies with all applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards. Reports adverse conditions, non-conforming products/procedures, and 5S violations to department leader in accordance to escalation procedure.\n\nAdheres to department 5S standards daily. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.\n\nIn accordance with escalation procedure, notify team leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning safety, quality, equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.\n\nDemonstrates flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed. Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.\n\nYOU HAVE:\nHigh School Diploma or GED, preferred\n\nKnowledge in use of scales, preferred\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, preferred\n\nExperience following work instructions or reading blueprints, preferred\n\nExperience in assembling mechanical parts into a finished product, preferred\n\nExperience in using hand and power tools, preferred\n\nPrior experience working in a light industrial facility preferred\n\nPay Transparency \nnVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
