This position works closely with warehouse, shipping, and production teams to maintain inventory flow, support on-time deliveries, and keep the facility organized and operating efficiently. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, attention to detail, and working in a fast-paced distribution environment.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nReceive incoming shipments by verifying packing lists and inspecting materials for accuracy.\nLoad, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility to support shipping and operational needs.\nOrganize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations to maintain material accuracy and accessibility.\nDistribute materials to shipping stations to ensure customer orders are processed on schedule.\nOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).\nMaintain outdoor pallet staging areas, waste collection areas, and overall warehouse housekeeping standards.\nIdentify and communicate inventory, shipping, quality, or equipment issues to appropriate personnel.\nSupport a safe work environment by following company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.\nYOU HAVE:\nEducation Requirement\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nYears of Experience\n1+ years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or material handling experience preferred\nPrevious forklift experience is a plus\nSkills\nInventory and material handling\nShipping and receiving documentation\nBasic computer and math skills\nStrong attention to detail and organization\nAbilities to Meet Physical and Environmental Demands\nAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds without assistance\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift\nAbility to safely operate or learn to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts\nAbility to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and frequent material movement\nWE HAVE:\nCompetitive pay at $21.00 per hour\nMonday-Friday schedule with weekends typically off\nMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits\n401(k) with company match\nPaid Time Off and Paid Holidays\nCareer growth opportunities within a global manufacturing and distribution organization\nA collaborative, safety-focused team environment dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement\nAt nVent, we connect and protect our customers with inventive electrical solutions.
