This role is essential to maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant distribution center operations.\nKey responsibilities include:\nPerform receiving, picking, checking, and loading activities in accordance with SOPs and work instructions\nAccurately complete system transactions to maintain inventory integrity\nOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, shrink wrappers, dock equipment, and related tools\nConduct required equipment safety checks and report unsafe conditions immediately\nSupport material flow including put-away, replenishment, and line service activities\nMeet established productivity, quality, and safety performance standards\nYOU HAVE\nForklift experience (required, stand-up Crown preferred)\nPrevious experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred\nSkill in safely operating material handling equipment\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized work instructions\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities\nEffective communication and teamwork skills\nTo perform this job successfully, candidates must be able to meet the following essential requirements:\nMust have the ability to successfully obtain and maintain internal powered industrial truck (forklift) certification within five (5) working days of placement into the position\nDemonstrate ability to safely perform material movement tasks including picking, loading, and equipment operation at all times.\nMeet required training and proficiency expectations for assigned material handler level and tasks (including task and route proficiency as applicable)\nComply with all safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures at all times\nCandidates must be able to meet and maintain all job requirements, training expectations, and certifications outlined for this role\nPay Transparency\nnVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location.
