Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nLeadership & Strategy\nDevelop and implement the quality strategy for logistics and distribution in the Electrical Connections segment.\nEstablish a multi-site Quality Management System (QMS) across the global Distribution Center locations.\nDevelop a Quality Playbook for Logistics to standardize processes and drive operational excellence in logistics and distribution.\nComplaint Resolution\nWork with the Customer Service and Logistics teams to drive quick response of customer complaints.\nOwn the resolution of logistics quality issues through an effective root cause and corrective action process.\nImplement and coordinate a robust containment process for immediate problem response.\nQuality Improvement\nLead Transportation supplier quality audits and improvement.\nIntegrate quality performance indicators at every DC and drive a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) process for preventing quality escapes and reducing cost of poor quality.\nCollaborate with the Logistics Leadership Team to deploy a quality culture that elevates customer experience and operational excellence.\nDeploy a preventive quality system in logistics, including the use of FMEA, Control Plan, Layered Process Audits, and Error-Proofing.\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field; master’s degree preferred.\n5+ years in quality engineering roles.\n3+ years working with logistics and distribution teams.\nProven leadership skills influencing multiple functions in a multi-site environment.\nPrevious experience implementing Quality Management Systems and acquiring or maintaining ISO-9001 or similar certification.\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.\nSolid understanding of FMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Audits.\nDemonstrated problem-solving skills (including RCCA, 8D, and 5-Whys), coupled with collaboration, communication, and relationship-building abilities.\nAbility to travel Domestically and Internationally up to 30%.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
