Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nLead and align the team and logistics resources to achieve the agreed key financial goals established in the yearly AOP plan for both Distribution and Freight.\nResponsible for achieving the main objectives related to deliveries, warehousing and transportation.\nLead Austria warehouse teams (shift planning, onboarding, training, performance management) and ensure safe operations, 5S, and disciplined standard work.\nManage day-to-day execution with transportation partners (capacity, pickup performance, issue escalation), building strong carrier relationships and ensuring smooth outbound flow.\nDrive daily operational control through KPI management (safety, quality, delivery, cost), identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.\nOwn warehouses productivity and labor planning; set targets, standardize work, and track performance to improve throughput and cost per unit.\nEnsure service level, OTIF, and customer commitments are met; lead daily/weekly performance reviews and continuous improvement action plans.\nMonitors and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to the company’s transportation policies and practices.\nSupport the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems (TMS/WMS) to promote supply chain optimization.\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.\n+5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including team leadership.\nProven ability to manage warehouse teams and drive operational performance.\nStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and FIFO principles.\nExperience working in warehouse environments using barcode scanning systems.\nExperience applying Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and implement improvements.\nExperience working with ERP systems (preferably M3) and advanced Excel skills.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nFluent English, German/Austrian.\nPay Transparency\nnVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. \nWe offer an attractive salary package, including a gross annual salary of € 35.126 in accordance with the collective agreement for the retail sector, with the possibility of a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications.\nDepending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as short or long-term incentives, which are discretionary and governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
