This role will support all core M365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, External Entra ID, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft 365 Groups, and related collaboration platforms.\nThis position will serve as a technical engineer and escalation resource for Microsoft 365 services, ensuring the environment is secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The role will partner closely with global infrastructure, cybersecurity, service desk, application, and business teams to deliver a modern digital workplace experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nMicrosoft 365 Administration & Engineering\nDesign, implement, and support Microsoft 365 services across a global enterprise.\nAdminister Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.\nManage Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, licensing, governance, and service health.\nDevelop and maintain Microsoft 365 architecture standards and operational procedures.\nLead M365 migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.\nIdentity & Access Management\nManage Entra ID (Azure AD), hybrid identity, and Active Directory integrations.\nConfigure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and identity governance solutions.\nTroubleshoot identity synchronization and authentication issues.\nSupport certificate-based authentication, password less technologies, and smart card initiatives.\nSecurity & Compliance\nImplement Microsoft security technologies including Defender, Purview, and Conditional Access.\nSupport data protection, information governance, retention policies, and compliance initiatives.\nMonitor security alerts and collaborate with cybersecurity teams on threat mitigation.\nParticipate in security assessments, audits, and remediation activities.\nCollaboration & Productivity Solutions\nSupport Microsoft Teams collaboration, calling, conferencing, and Teams Rooms environments.\nConfigure and manage SharePoint Online sites and governance standards.\nEnable business productivity through Power Automate, Power Apps, Forms, and Copilot technologies.\nDrive user adoption and best practices for Microsoft 365 services.\nAutomation & Optimization\nDevelop automation solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.\nAutomate user provisioning, licensing, compliance reporting, and administrative tasks.\nMonitor system performance and proactively improve service reliability.\nCreate dashboards, reports, and operational metrics related to M365 service delivery.\nOperational Support\nServe as a Level 3 escalation resource for complex Microsoft 365 incidents.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nWork closely with service desk, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve issues.\nMaintain documentation, knowledge articles, and architectural diagrams.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.\nExperience supporting:Exchange Online\nMicrosoft Teams\nSharePoint Online\nOneDrive for Business\nMicrosoft Entra ID (Azure AD)\n\nStrong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.\nExperience with identity management, MFA, Conditional Access, and SSO technologies.\nKnowledge of Microsoft security and compliance capabilities.\nExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.\nPreferred\nExperience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered productivity solutions.\nExperience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.\nExperience in hybrid cloud environments.\nFamiliarity with Teams Rooms and modern workplace technologies.\nExperience supporting global organizations.\nPreferred Certifications\nMicrosoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert\nMicrosoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate\nMicrosoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
