In this role, you will operate and maintain forming equipment used to produce metal components that support critical infrastructure around the world. You will be responsible for machine setups, quality inspections, production monitoring, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.\nYou'll be part of a team that manufactures products used in data centers, hospitals, warehouses, and commercial buildings worldwide.\n1st & 2nd Shift Opportunity\nStarting Pay: $22.00 per hour\nShift Differential: Up to $1.00-2.00 per hour\nPotential Earnings: Up to $24.00 per hour\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nOperate forming equipment to meet production schedules and customer requirements.\nPerform machine setups, tooling changes, and equipment adjustments.\nLoad raw materials and monitor production runs for efficiency and quality.\nInspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications.\nTroubleshoot minor equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.\nFollow all safety procedures and identify opportunities to improve workplace safety.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and waste reduction.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nWork collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.\nYOU HAVE:\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\nExperience\n1+ year of manufacturing, machine operating, or production experience preferred.\nExperience operating forming, stamping, fabrication, or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus.\nSkills\nAbility to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.\nExperience using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.\nStrong mechanical proficiency and troubleshooting abilities.\nBasic math skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.\nAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.\nAbility to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.\nAbility to work safely around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
