What you will experience in this position:

At nVent Management Company, we offer an outstanding opportunity for a Material Clerk in Oregon, WI. Your role will be pivotal in advancing our world-class operations! You will coordinate all electrical and structural material movement within various locations, ensuring flawless execution of tasks and maintaining strict cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include

Retrieve and stage materials for jobs, returns, and/or service.

Unload incoming materials using 3-way match and store them in accurate locations.

Receipt incoming material into the ERP system.

Submit required documentation to accounting.

Conduct cycle counts.

Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.

Initiate purchase orders to maintain adequate inventory of all stock materials, shop supplies, etc. daily.

Keep material and receiving areas neat and orderly.

Operate various forklifts and pallet jacks.

Build crates for service and warranty as needed.

Coordinate material.

Assist in other duties as assigned.

You have

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in material handling in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated diligent and detailed work ethic.

Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional environment.

Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing across the organization.

Bottom-line accountability and cost-conscious orientation.

Ability to meet the physical demands including safely lifting up to 70 pounds, standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.

Forklift Certification or experience is required.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm. Up to 10 hours on Friday
