nVent is an electrical connection and protection company spun out of Pentair in 2018 that makes enclosures, thermal management, cable management and connection products for industrial, commercial and data centre customers. Its most consequential business has become thermal management for data centres: liquid cooling for high-density computing racks, where artificial intelligence accelerators generate more heat per rack than air can remove. Headquartered in London for tax and legal purposes with operations centred in Minnesota, it is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and has been reshaping its portfolio around electrification and data centre demand.

We’re looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success - and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software like SAP/Oracle(bonus points) or QuickBooks for data entry and real-time inventory updates.
  • Certification and proficiency in operating forklifts (sit-down/stand-up), electric pallet jacks, hand trucks.
  • Competence in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for verifying counts, weight measurements, and stock quantities.
  • Knowledge of essential shipping documents, such as Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists.

YOU HAVE:

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous observation to spot damaged goods, incorrect SKU numbers, or missing items in large deliveries.
  • Capability to troubleshoot shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions independently.
  • Clear verbal and written skills to interact with truck drivers, and internal departments like purchasing or sales.
  • Ability to manage a steady flow of inbound freight, prioritize tasks, and keep the receiving dock and warehouse clean and orderly.
  • Flexibility to handle shifting priorities, such as late truck arrivals, sudden or late orders and working overtime on the weekends (when needed).
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (regularly up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs) and stand for long periods (8-12 hour shifts).
  • Physical ability for bending, kneeling, and reaching to unload or organize inventory.
  • Strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
