The position monitors inventory, maintains accurate records, and ensures materials are stored safely and efficiently.\nDay Shift: Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm\nWeekend (Full Time): Friday - Sunday 6 am - 6 pm\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nMove, load, and transport materials, freight, and products between storage areas, production floors, and loading docks using hand tools or material-handling equipment \nRead work orders to determine material needs, assignments, and priorities \nMonitor inventory levels, maintain storage areas, and ensure materials are protected and properly staged \nMaintain and update inventory records and databases manually or using computer systems \nOperate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in accordance with safety guidelines \nCreate work instructions and support training for junior material handlers \nCoordinate material flow to support production schedules and operational efficiency\nYOU HAVE:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n2-4 years of Experience handling materials in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.\nExperience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment (forklift certification required prior to operation) .\nStrong understanding of inventory control and material flow processes \nValid driver’s license required.\nAbility to read work orders and follow established procedures.\nStrong attention to safety, organization, and productivity.\nTeam members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.\nRoles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.\nThis position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.\nEmployees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.\nWork is performed in a manufacturing setting that may not be climate-controlled and can include exposure to varying temperatures. nVent is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
