At nVent, you'll work across multiple manufacturing areas, operating automated welding equipment, forklifts, and a variety of production machines that support the creation of innovative electrical solutions used around the world.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys variety, learning new equipment, and stepping in wherever needed to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. If you thrive in manufacturing environments and enjoy solving problems, this opportunity is for you.

You will build a diverse range of abilities and make a direct impact on production success.

You'll work with automated welding equipment and other manufacturing machines to help make metal products used in data centers, hospitals, warehouses, and commercial buildings around the world.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Operating automated welding and manufacturing equipment
  • Rotating between multiple machines and production processes based on business needs
  • Using forklifts and handling production materials
  • Performing quality inspections and ensuring products meet specifications
  • Troubleshooting equipment and supporting continuous improvement efforts
  • Helping deliver high-quality products while maintaining a safe, organized work environment

You have:

Education Requirement

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

Years of Experience

  • 2+ years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, warehousing, or related industrial experience preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts and industrial equipment is a plus.

Skills

  • Machine operation and manufacturing equipment experience.
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools including tape measures and calipers.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures that products meet CADDY quality standards

Abilities to Meet the Physical and Environmental Demands

  • Ability to lift, move, slide, and position heavy materials throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery, powered industrial equipment, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced production environment and perform multiple tasks across various work centers.
