Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nServe as primary functional expert supporting Oracle E-Business Suite projects and project accounting processes across a complex manufacturing organization.\nPartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional designs and system solutions.\nConfigure Oracle EBS Projects modules utilizing standard Oracle functionality and industry best practices.\nSupport project lifecycle processes including project setup, budgeting, forecasting, cost collection, capitalization, billing, revenue recognition, and closeout.\nCollaborate with Finance, PMO, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Services organizations to improve project execution and visibility.\nLead functional design reviews, testing activities, deployments, and production support.\nDevelop and execute SIT, UAT, regression, and deployment validation testing.\nTroubleshoot business process and application issues while coordinating resolution with technical teams and support partners.\nSupport integrations between Oracle Projects and related systems including Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Time Collection, Manufacturing, CRM, and reporting platforms.\nDrive process standardization, governance, and adoption of global project management and costing practices.\nSupport ERP upgrades, acquisitions, carve-outs, ERP consolidations, and business transformation initiatives\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field\nIdeally 5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite functional experience.\nStrong expertise in Oracle Projects, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Accounting, and related Financials integrations.\nUnderstanding of project lifecycle management, budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, capitalization, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.\nExperience gathering business requirements and developing functional specifications.\nExperience leading testing, deployment, and user training activities.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience supporting engineer-to-order (ETO), project-based manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, industrial equipment, or capital project businesses.\nExperience with Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, ERP migrations, acquisitions, or carve-out programs.\nKnowledge of Oracle Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Cost Management modules.\nUnderstanding of project controls, earned value management, contract billing, and project portfolio management practices.\nFamiliarity with SOX controls, financial governance, and enterprise project management processes.\nDemonstrates a positive, solution-oriented attitude and thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism, resilience, and focus while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.\nTakes ownership and accountability for results, follows through on commitments, drives issues to resolution, and proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement.\nSelf-starter who works effectively with minimal direction, exercises sound judgment, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and successfully manages multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.\nCollaborative business partner who builds strong relationships across functions, communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and works constructively with others to achieve business objectives.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
