Recommends revision of specifications, if applicable.\nDesigns or specifies inspection and testing processes and equipment.\nAdvanced planning and execution of PPAP/FAI documentation based on customer requirements and schedule.\nSupervising and analyzing quality performance metrics for customers and the assigned plant.\nDevelopment and implementation of corrective actions, solutions, and improvements of quality process and performance.\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies such as ASQ.\nMay conduct training on quality topics, concepts, and tools.\nContinuous attendance to customer scheduled conference calls, meetings and audits.\n\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field or similar.\n4+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, specializing in sheet metal process preferred.\nBilingual, strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish is required.\nQuality Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA), MSA, SPC.\nMethodologies: Six Sigma (DMAIC), Lean Manufacturing, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa (Fishbone).\nCertified Six Sigma Green Belt desirable.\nA tourist VISA is preferred.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
