nVent is an electrical connection and protection company spun out of Pentair in 2018 that makes enclosures, thermal management, cable management and connection products for industrial, commercial and data centre customers. Its most consequential business has become thermal management for data centres: liquid cooling for high-density computing racks, where artificial intelligence accelerators generate more heat per rack than air can remove. Headquartered in London for tax and legal purposes with operations centred in Minnesota, it is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and has been reshaping its portfolio around electrification and data centre demand.

We’re looking for people who put their innovation to work to advance our success - and their own. Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.

  • Facilitate customer engagement at multiple levels, partnering proactively to address concerns and align on quality expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and suppliers - both inside and outside the organization.
  • Support production teams to ensure high-quality, compliant products are delivered consistently and in accordance with established processes.
  • Lead and participate in the defect reduction activities, driving timely disposition and corrective actions.
  • Manage internal non-conformance reports (NCRs) and external quality issues, including customer complaints, from identification through resolution.
  • Evaluate suspect or nonconforming materials, working with diverse teams to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Lead quality problem-solving efforts using Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies, including containment, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for new product launches, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, GR&R, Capability Studies, and First Article Inspections (FAI).

YOU HAVE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
  • 2+ years of experience with Manufacturing or Quality processes.
  • Experience leading technical or production teams in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Quality Certifications such as CQE, CMQ, CQA, and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training are strongly preferred.
  • Experience in process improvement, planning, Six Sigma, Lean training, and quality systems.
  • Experience with optical, multi-sensor, and scanning inspection equipment (preferred)
  • Experience supporting quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites (preferred)
