Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWhat YOU WILLEXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nIn this position, you will get to:\nFacilitate problem solving activities for freight receiving,distributionand warehousing processes.\n\nPerform process validations, freight audits, in-process inspections, and monitorthe quality of manufacturing/distribution processes and products.\n\nProvide support to design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities.\n\nPerform containment activities preventing potential or additionalquality defects.\n\nProvide formal documented KPIreports suitable for customer or internal use as required.\n\nDetermine and use appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain KPI charts for monitoring / improving performance.\n\nPerform product reviews and analysis to determine cause and/or disposition.\n\nSupport metric tracking and data entry for internal databases\n\nLead and/or assist in the calibration of inspection, test, and measurement equipment.\n\nAssist with training personnel to adhere to quality standards.\n\nYou have:\nHigh school diploma or G.E.D.\n\n1 year experience in the quality processand experience with Quality Management Systemspreferred.\n\nExperience and understanding of charting and process control methods preferred.\n\nSkill in identifyingroot causes of routine problems/issues and the ability to develop recommendations for resolution.\n\nAbility to effectively organize, plan workloadand work in a self-directed manner.\n\nAbility to utilizegood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface withpeople across multiple functional areas within the company.\n\nAbility to interpret and apply Quality System / ISO procedures and documentation.\n\nSkills in attention to detail and accuracy\n\nAbility to apply appropriate mathand geometry.\n\nSkill in using personal computers including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).\n\nAbility to lift upto 50 lbs.\n\nAbility to stand and walk frequently.\n\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
