Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:\nLeadership & Collaboration\nDevelop and implement the supplier quality strategy for the Electrical Connections business.\nGrow and mentor the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team while remaining actively involved in key initiatives.\nPartner with Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations to align supplier quality goals with business priorities.\nSupplier Quality Management\nSupport the resolution of supplier quality issues and corrective actions (SCARs).\nGuide the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for purchased materials and finished goods.\nCollaborate with Sourcing teams to establish and improve supplier performance metrics across quality, delivery, and cost.\nHelp develop supplier certification and recognition programs that strengthen supplier partnerships.\nContinuous Improvement\nConduct supplier audits, assessments, and risk evaluations to support compliance and performance.\nPartner with suppliers to share standard processes and advance continuous improvement efforts.\nSupport customer and supplier onsite visits and audits, and communicate supply chain quality performance with partners.\nYOU HAVE:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.\n8+ years in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality roles preferred.\n3+ years in a leadership role.\nStrong communication and negotiating skills, working with a global supply chain.\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.\nProven understanding of systems and processes such as: ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Process Capability Studies, FMEA, Control Plans, and GD&T.\nExcellent problem-solving (such as RCCA, 8D, and 5-Why).\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.\nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
