Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\nAs an Electrical Installation Assembler at our Pittsburg, KS facility, you will support electrical assembly operations by assisting with the installation and preparation of components, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient production environment.\nDay Shift: Monday - Thursday 6 am - 430 pm\nNight Shift: Monday - Thursday 8 pm - 630 am\nWeekend (Full Time): Friday - Sunday 6 am - 6 pm\nWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:\nUse a variety of hand and power tools to support the assembly of electrical components and products. \nClean parts using proper materials, tools, and safety practices. \nMaintain production equipment, machinery, and work areas to support efficient operations. \nFollow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines under supervision. \nSupport team productivity goals by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time. \nMaintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures. \nYOU HAVE:\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred; no formal education required. \nLess than 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of training and education. \nAbility to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively. \nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures. \nReliability with strong attendance and ability to meet productivity expectations. \nTeam members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip. \nRoles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs. \nThis position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. consistently. \nEmployees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment. \nWork is performed in a manufacturing setting that may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and environmental conditions. nVent is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. \nWE HAVE:\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
